Fiction notice
All characters in The Thirteenth Bell and The Last Lantern are fictitious and are not based on any person, living or deceased. Any resemblance to actual persons is purely coincidental.
Our fictional stories are presented for entertainment. Character statements, suspicions, events and outcomes within a story are not assertions about real people. A visitor’s investigation notes and suspicion ratings are their own interpretations, not factual accusations.
Using the site’s content
You are welcome to view the stories, use the investigation tools for personal enjoyment, and share links to the site. The site does not grant permission to republish or commercially redistribute its story text, artwork, branding or other creative materials. Any rights belonging to third parties remain with their respective owners.
Some story artwork is created with AI-assisted tools. Illustrations are fictional artistic depictions, not photographs documenting real events.
You retain any rights you hold in notes you write. Saving or exporting a notebook does not transfer those rights to Big Time Adventure.
Your notebook & privacy
The Thirteenth Bell and The Last Lantern notebooks save notes, cast annotations, suspicion ratings, evidence cards, route decisions and watching bookmarks in your browser’s local storage. The notebook does not upload this information to us, and you do not need an account to use it.
Local, not cloud-synced. Notes are specific to the browser profile and device you use. Anyone with access to that profile may be able to read them.
Keep a backup. Clearing site data, private-browsing sessions, browser settings or storage limitations can remove your investigation. Export a file if you want to keep a copy.
Export and import. Export creates a file on your device. Import reads a file you select and, after confirmation, replaces this story’s investigation in that browser. Imported files may contain another viewer’s route and spoilers.
Reset. Reset clears this story’s investigation in the current browser after confirmation. It does not delete exported files, other devices’ copies, YouTube history or unrelated browser data.
No sensitive information needed. The notebook is intended for story observations. Please avoid storing passwords, financial details or other sensitive personal information in it.
Normal website requests still reach our hosting provider. Hosting and other services may process technical request information such as IP addresses, browser information, timestamps and requested URLs for delivery, security or operation. This is separate from the notebook text stored locally. We do not currently add advertising trackers or an account-registration system to this site.
External links & services
The site is hosted using Vercel and uses fonts supplied by Google Fonts. These services receive the requests needed to deliver their resources.
Watching links open YouTube separately. Your activity there is governed by YouTube’s terms and Google’s privacy policy. This notebook does not read your YouTube viewing history or automatically know which scenes you have watched. You record your own progress.
Links to other services do not imply their sponsorship or endorsement of Big Time Adventure.
Availability & changes
Stories and features may be in development and may change. We do not promise a particular release date or uninterrupted availability. Keep exported backups of notes you want to preserve, particularly before moving devices or clearing browser data.
We may update this information as the site develops. The date above identifies the latest revision. Nothing on this page is intended to remove rights you have under applicable law.
